Pfaltzgraff Traditions Weave Dinnerware Set, 40 Piece, Service for 8 Horrible Quality Very Disappointed in Pfaltzgraff I asked for this set for Christmas. When I received it I was so excited since I've always enjoyed Pfaltzgraff dishes. When I opened the box I was horrified by the quality. The glaze on the mugs was only partially done. The handles were not glazed and most of the mugs were chipped and you could see where the glaze ran and dripped. When I checked out the plates you could see places all over where the glaze didn't cover entirely. I am extremely disappointed in Pfaltzgraff. I can understand a problem happening when the dishes were made but how they could let this go through inspection is beyond me. The dishes also said Made in China which was new to me. Guess I may go with good ol' reliable Corelle from now on.Update I took the set back to the store and picked up another box hoping that maybe the set I got was just a lemon. Nope the other box was just as bad.
Very pleased. I purchased Pfaltzgraff Traditions Weave Dinnerware Service for 8. I used it for about a week was very happy with it and then purchased a second service for 8 to use when we have guests in an informal setting. I think the person who wrote initially must have just gotten a 'lemon'. So sorry for her. And I do recommend this simple clean pattern that goes with just about everything.
