You will get burned two ways! My husband got burned severely after putting the microwave proof mug in the microwave. Was treated by a doctor several times and missed several days of work. He was scarred and still sensitive. The company made us jump though hoops with documentation of the burns and expenses incurred. In the end they said they would not reimburse us and it was not their responsibility.Burned by the mug and burned by the company.Beware of this company.
Horrible. chips easily hotter than food in microwave just not good Absolutely not good for the microwave. The cup/bowl/plate & serving bowls all get hotter than the food in them! Sometimes on really cold mornings in the house I have actually heated up the cup in the microwave BEFORE putting my coffee in it.
Nice style but DO NOT use in microwave Love the look of these dishes but the smaller plates & bowls heat up if used in the microwave for even a short period of time. How that qualifies as microwave safe is puzzling to us.
Big and Beautiful but Buyer Beware These dishes were fine for the fist six months. After that every time you picked them up they would chip. After a year of using these dishes the chips were too numerous to continue using. Sent them back to Pfaltzgraff.Also the dinner plates were oversized and would not fit in dishwasher microwave nor cabinets!If you buy them they are not to be used as everyday dishes.
Disaster in Microwave Purchased these and have found they get smoking hot in the microwave before the food gets hot. Quickly melts plastic wrap you might cover food with.
